We’ve all heard of the miracles that happen. One day your next door neighbor is giving birth and a week later, she’s all slim and trim, even bikini ready! And you think, why do you have to be stuck with such neighbors who make it all look so easy, when for some people losing weight is one of the hardest things to do. No matter how much you exercise, change your diet, revamp your lifestyle, you still need to resort to using a 7 day slimming pill just so that you can fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes, 11 months after giving birth. Sometimes it seems that one gets stuck in a rut, and these day it’s all about weight loss. Almost everyone I meet is wanting to lose some weight and so the conversation invariably turns to different methods of losing weight, the pros and cons of diet pills, the questions on is it safe? or not, how to balance the dieting versus exercise dilemma and so on. A lot of people seem to omit the lifestyle changes they have to make in order to make some kind of impact on their weight, regardless of the diet and exercise changes they make. It’s a tricky balance to get it right, but once you do, it’ll work wonders on you.

These days, one just cannot manage without a laptop. Everything is done online at one’s own convenience and by having some cheap laptops it makes it all the more easier. I’ve been using a netbook lately and it’s even more convenient than a laptop, much easier to cart around and use as well, since one doesn’t clutter it with too much stuff that one puts on the main laptop. So on this, I have only the things I absolutely need and that’s it. So it works fast and is super efficient.

At the start of the year, we all make our resolutions with so much gusto, don’t we? But how many of us, actually follow through with them. We had an absolutely wonderful vacation, a series of vacations actually since we went to several different places, to pack in as much as we could in the short time that we had. And the end result was that it’s going to be a very memorable vacation. The best place that we went to was a farmstay, a rural and rustic place that grew a wide range of fruits and vegetables, had lots of horses, cows, sheep, rabbits, geese and so on for a complete farm experience. I loved the simple country style decor, complete with rustic lamps to set the mood. A wonderful place indeed!
