Taking photographs has become a wonderful and fun part of my life in the past year. My camera is good but still quite basic and I plan to upgrade it sometime, not sure what I should get, but I’m sure I’ve lots of people to ask for advice from on flickr! Till then, I am making the most of my current camera, since it’s small size means that I can take it everywhere and anywhere! Here’s a photo from our vacation to Mussoorie in September.

When it comes to anything technical or complicated, I don’t bat an eyelid at all. I go straight to my neighbor who quickly explains everything and anything to me in such straightforward terms that it sometimes seems silly not to know it all before. The last time I went there it was to ask about micro sd cards, which I thought I should know about, since I am a generally tech savvy person, or at least that’s what people think of me. Anyway, she made it all seem so simple and I was almost embarrassed I asked, almost but not quite!
The thing with technology is that since it’s constantly changing, at the speed of light it sometimes seems, it makes sense to go to the experts and get the information oneself, instead of it filtering down and usually becoming more complicated that it first was. That’s the same with micro sd cards too!

It’s been a while since I blogged and I must admit that even though I have missed it, it certainly was nice to take a break…that too a technology free break (as I wrote about earlier) and so was able to enjoy my vacation a lot more. Since I usually travel with my laptop, I end up working even on vacation, which defeats its entire purpose, right? This time, I decided to take a complete break, so did not work at all during my vacation. I did log on occasionally to check my mail and post new pics onto Flickr but that was it.
It was great and I must follow the same rules next time as well
