I love having flower sin my home, but in some of the places we have lived, it just hasn’t been possible to keep up a steady supply of fresh flowers. So, I decided to get some high quality silk flowers that would liven up my rooms but not look too fake. Since we travel quite often, our indoor plants often spoil while we are away, so having a few fake shrubs in the house has also been a good idea. The way I like to use them is to mix them well with my real plants, so visitors are not really sure what is real and what is silk. A lot of people, me included, were really put off by the pathetic quality of silk plants that used to be available, but that is not the case anymore. Now, you can get some really great plants that are hard to tell if they’re real or silk, and these are the ones to look out for.
